They're thoughtful, and never jump to conclusions, but instead wait and hear the cat out. The clan has a never ending spirit, and are fearless, their energy keeping the clan efficient and strong, even through the hardest times
The History
The clan began with Spiritstar and Autumnfang, decedents of an ancient tribe who's name has long been forgotten. After a horrible battle that ended with every cat in their clan to be slaughtered except the two, the leader and deputy fled their tribe to start a new life. After traveling many moons, they reached a large lake with a mountain ridge in the distance. As they traveled through the land, they were troubled about how they were going to cross the endless lake. That night, they met Raptor, a young she-cat who knew of a way across. Sneaking aboard a small ship full of twolegs, the cats spent two days crossing the water, catching rats as food. Once they reached the other side, they traveled south towards the small outcrop of a mountain which became known as highstones. They met another cat at the moutains, a strong tom named Sun. At first, Spiritstar wanted to make camp there, but Sun warned that in newleaf, twolegs would come with green dens and light fires, scaring off all the prey. With that in mind, they set off again.
Spiritstar led the way, Autumnfang, Raptor, and Sun following at his heels. Reaching the river, they were the first to cross it in excitement, surging forward into the shade of the tall trees. After climbing the first hill, Spiritstar spotted a large oak tree, standing out against all the smaller pines around it. Being the smallest and lightest of the three, Spiritstar climbed all the way to the top just as nightpelt was covering the sky. A white owl flew out beneath him and flew north to a clearing beneath a hollowed-out hill. It was a sign from starclan, their home would be in that clearing. A new home and a new beginning. They reached the new clearing by nightfall, and slept together in one of the large crevices with a small brook with fresh, cool water.

The Traditions
The Apprentice's Final Quest:
Before an apprentice is made into a warrior, the apprentice must partner up with another apprentice to go north to where the snow always falls. They then have a moon to catch a white adult stoat, and bring back its fur as proof. The purpose is to show that the two apprentices know how to work as a team and use their unique ideas to capture a ferocious stoat.
Many moons ago, two apprentices left their clan after the leader didn’t allow them to become warriors. Ravenpaw, a raven-black long-haired she-cat with a white under belly, and piercing amber eyes. Her friend, Tumblepaw is a tiny, ginger-tabby tom

The Warriors Vigil:
When new warriors are made, there is a feast to celebrate the new warriors, and then, their vigil begins, at moon high. They sit upon a smooth, black stone that rests above the hollow, watching over the camp until sunrise. They are to not speak until a senior warrior tells them to, and then they must lead the dawn patrol before being able to rest.
The Medicine Cat's Journey:
Every half-moon, the current medicine cat must go to star-falls to speak to starclan. During the flooding seasons, they must go east, and take a mountain tunnel south that will eventually lead them to the cavern. A medicine cat apprentice must take the rite of trial through the waterfall to become accepted by star clan as a full medicine cat.
